This section consists primarily of my work as an intern on an unpublished R&D project: an isometric realtime browser RPG.
I developed the environment of the game, designed characters (one to completion) and monsters, and concepted animations. Due to small team size, I also designed the level layout and monster placements.
We intended for this game to be set in a city reminiscent to our beloved Los Angeles, so I drew inspiration from the streets of downtown and the Toy District that I’ve meandered around myself in the past. The characters were created with the intent to portray the diverse and stylish youth that you might see running around those parts of the city, while the monsters were to look like they had been sleeping for eons underground.
